What is an outdoor cooling system?
At Backyard Oasis our water misters are a more modern and lavish way of keeping cool during hot seasons. Not only can our systems be used for commercial purposes but now residential! Our systems are filtered, providing a cool fine mist that helps people and pets stay dry but cool during high temperatures. Our water misters can lower temperatures by up to 30 degrees Freiheit. We use powerful misting pumps to boost water pressure up to 1,500 psi, allowing surrounding areas to cool rapidly and leave least amount of residual moisture. Water misters water consumption and energy are very low, with our systems you have the ability to control how often you want to use and when you want to use it with a touch of a button.
How does the water mist work?
The secret to your outdoor comfort lies in the science behind evaporative cooling. Our misting system consist of series of nozzles place around the perimeter of where you would want to stay cool, connected to a series of tubing (color of your choice). A high-pressure pump is connected to the water source, which increases the water pressure by up to 10x its normal rate. By increasing the water pressure above 700 psi, the water molecules are atomized, pushing the smallest possible droplets through the nozzles. As the water droplets are introduced to the hot outside air, they evaporate. The process of evaporation requires a source of energy: in this case the hot air molecules. When the air molecules expend energy to evaporate the water droplets they begin to cool. This process is repeated for each droplet and, as the misting continues to spray, the surrounding air can be cooled by 30 degrees Fahrenheit.
